Holy Armour

Put on God's Holy Armour
When battles rage within your soul
The helmet of salvation
Will keep your spirit whole
Righteousness; your breastplate
To protect your heart from sin
Gird your loins with truth
Don't let the enemy in
Hold tight the sheild of faith
And never let it go
The mighty sword which is God's word
Will lay the enemy low
Now, shod your feet with readiness
To spread the Gospel wide
And in those times of weariness
'Neath the Father's wings we hide
The victory is already ours
Jesus conquered all for us
His spirit longs to mend our wounds
If we will just but trust.
