You are having a tempestuous day, and the burdens will not go away.
Could this be God's way of asking you to pray?
Everything you try and do seems like God has labeled "delay,"
Could this be God's way of asking you to pray?
Family problems are the worst, and so many bills to pay,
Could this be God's way of asking you to pray?
So you finally decide to mentally file everything away,
You enter your "prayer closet' to fervently pray.
You ask God for patience and wisdom to handle things in a way that is best,
You understand that He could be putting you through a test
You promise to try harder to God's will,
You ask forgiveness and help for your duties to fulfill.
Soon you feel your burdens lifting and, you can honestly say,
When things go wrong I know what the answer is....
PRAY, PRAY, PRAY

Hi Gramx6 - When I needed help early this morning, I remembered your poem and the words "PRAY, PRAY, PRAY" Im continuing to follow this instruction in thanks for Gods answer to my prayers. Thank you for sharing this encoragement!
