Who is my Sister and who is my Brother?
Why would Jesus ask a question that He already knew the answer to? Perhaps because it is to the glory of God to conceal a matter but it is the honor of Kings to search them out. I presume that He want us to know that the Spiritual bond is more powerful that biological genetics. If our friends are in Christ then they are our Sisters and Brothers.
God gives us a few friends in a lifetime. I believe that friends are a gift that God gives us to draw near too and to draw from.
I believe that God wants us to receive from each other therefore, He has given us different gifts so that we might be helper one to another.
I want to give thanks to God for friendship. Friends are ones that sticks closer that a brother (biological). They give encouragement and enlighten your path that you might see the glory of God revealed. Soul is the essence of who we are and shows heart and character and cares about other. Therefore we have soul tries to each other.
God have endowed our friends with many pearls to be distributed whenever He gives them the unison. I thank God for my journey because along the path of life my friends are jewels that I have found. To God be the Glory!!

I agree with you, friends are jewels. Your words, "They give encouragement and enlighten your path that you might see the glory of God revealed." completely resonate with me today. When I read this, I wondered if some of my spiritual struggles were put in my way so that I would finally break down and seek help from others.This is a great reminder that I need to thank God for the wonderful gift of Christian friends.
