We often find faults in others but we must started to look for the good.

Maries Garden (A birthday Tribute)

I equate life to a flower garden; there are all arrays of flowers
Some of them are multi-colored and incredibly beautiful.
Some flowers one will love and some flowers one will not like as well.
Our character is like flowers. Within the essence of who we are one will find both beautiful quality and unpleasant ones

God has given all of us a wonderful flower garden of our own that other can pick from. We must try to pick the best in the garden and make those flowers a part of our own garden. We must take time to weed out those things that doesnt point to God. Let us look belongs the thorns, weeds and bugs that we may find in the garden. We should pick the beautiful flowers that will bring us to our purpose of who God desire us to be.

What is in Maries flower garden of life?
If flowers were songs-- Marie is a singer of songs of praises
If flowers were prayers-- Marie is a prayer warrior
If flowers were good food--Marie is a wonderful cook
If flowers were praises--Marie is one that loves to praise God
If flowers were the Word of God-- Marie is a lover of Gods Word

I would suggest that we pick prayers from her flower garden
For prayer keep us in communication with the Lord
Pick songs of praise; for God loves to hear us singing His praises
Pick good food; for it brings family and friends together
Pick the Word of God for it is Life; for the beginning of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Prayer, praise, songs, and a daily dose of Gods Word are essential what we need to grow in Christ. I believe that if we would pick these flowers from Maries flower garden they would assist us in having an amazing relationship with God. Our ultimate purpose is to bring His glory.

Hi Carolyn - I enjoyed reading your birthday tribute! As an avid gardener, I often draw on spiritual parallels while working in one of my gardens. Today my wife mentioned I had not given her flowers in a while. I pointed out the window and exclaimed "Look at all the flowers I gave you today!" However, your words are a beautiful reminder that the glorious flowers and fruits of the garden are gifts from God, as well as the analogies they inspire. Thank you!
