He Is Never Late

This
When things don't seem to go my way,
I make an extra effort to kneel and pray;
I promise the Lord I will do my best,
If He will only get me through this test.
I beg and plead and shed some tears;
I confess to Him my daily fears.
Because He loves me with compassion so great,
He comes with the answer; He is never late.
Trials teach me to be patient,
trials teach me to wait,
When the answer appears I realize that God
is so great.
So in the future when things go astray,
I'll turn everything over to Him and wait
while I pray.
