I was a Christian for a long time before I ever began listening to Christian music. I had a perception that all Christian music was the same - lame and boring. From time to time, a co-worker would play this CD inside our small workspace, and one day it just hit me - "Hey, this isn't bad!"
I picked up a copy for myself and played it over and over again. Suddenly, I wanted more. I started asking my co-worker for more bands like this one. On his recommendation, I picked up Delirious, Tree 63 and others. But this CD, which I still think is one of the best in contemporary Christian music, will always hold a special place in my heart. It was the start of my deep love for Christian music.
Too bad dc Talk is not around anymore, because this is a great album. There is not one weak track on this CD, and there are some incredible standouts such as "In The Light" and "What Have We Become".

tobyMac and Kevin Max are both doing great things on their own with solo careers. Michael Tait has also done some recent collaboration with artists like Jars of Clay and Jennifer Knapp.
Kevin has a really cool album coming out Dec. 26 called The Blood. It's an album of cover songs (except for one track he wrote himself and sings with Joanne Cash on) but yet it's very personal because each song is a work significant to his life. You should definitely check it out.
