I don't know about a "legal" right to anything, but for me, the scripture that comes to mind is Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable -- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy -- think about such things."
The Life Application Notes for this passage are especially helpful: "What we put into our mind determines what comes out in our words and actions. Paul tells us to program our mind with thoughts that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and worthy of praise. Do you have problems with impure thoughts and daydreams? Examine what you are putting into your mind through television, books, conversations, movies, and magazines. Replace harmful input with wholesome material. Above all, read God's Word and pray. Ask God to help you focus your mind on what is good and pure. It takes practice, but it can be done."
I think viewing things with demons in them, even in what seems like a harmless context, gives a foothold and so I personally won't let them in my home. Perhaps I'm being foolish and overly sensitive, but if I'm wrong I don't feel like I've lost anything much.
We had this issue come up recently in our home. I bought "Guitar Hero III" for my teenage sons, but then I found out that in the end, you have to battle Satan on the guitar to win the game. That was it for me, no more game! My sons were disappointed (and so was I) but I just don't want to risk giving a foothold to anything demonic. I REALLY respect your decision to try and keep this out of your home. If your husband does not see it this way, be gentle with him and pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to him.
