I was searching on the internet and wanted to know if it's true that the body eventually, after death, turns into dust. I could not find the answer in Google!

It's basically true, so long as you understand the metaphor and that we are talking about the body, not the soul.
To start, let's look at where this comes from in the Bible:
"Man's fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless. All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. " Ecc 3:19-20
.. which is a reference to how God created man in the first place...
"Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." Gen 2:7
There are two parts of every person, the body and the soul. When we talk about man being "dust", what we mean is that the body consists of nothing more than a complex arrangement of compounds and chemicals which exist naturally in the world (water, carbon, calcium, etc). When we die, our body goes back to being nothing more than the original compounds and chemicals. So, in this sense, yes, it's true that we came from dust and to dust we will return.
However, when we are alive on earth, the body is united with the second part, our immortal soul. It is our soul that makes us alive, that makes us special and unique among creation. This lives on in eternity after we die, long after our bodies turn to dust.
I hope this helps!
