Jesus was born in Bethlehem, near Jerusalem, but his family quickly fled to Egypt after his birth to avoid the wrath of King Herod. Following Herod's death, the family moved back to Nazareth, which was Mary and Joseph's home town. Jesus lived in Nazareth until he he began his ministry at age 30. During his ministry and until His death three years later, Jesus traveled extensively and did not really have a home.
