Struggles With Insecurity, Relationship Issues

I struggle with insecurity re: my physical appearance & interpersonal relationship skills.

I'm about 50 lbs. overweight for my height but am working on that with my personal trainer (Phil); together we have worked off 35 lbs. so far. There are days when I ask myself why bother, when it takes so much effort... & question if I'll ever feel beautiful &/or 'comfortable' in my own skin.

On January 2nd, I broke up with my boyfriend of 5+ years. His deployment to Iraq, among other things, helped break up our relationship. (Finding out about his lying, infidelity, etc., encouraged me to make the change). I wonder if, when I might find love again. Pray for peace-of-mind re: these matters. You have my thanks.

Your struggle with insecurity comes from not knowing who you are in Christ. Once you get saved, you are a new creation in Christ. Concern yourself with the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and not your physical appearance. It's really not how you look that matters, but how you are inside. God looks at the heart, not the body. When you are walking in the fruit, you are beautiful. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Contentment is found in Christ alone. Be satisfied in your relationship with Him. Human beings we all fail each other, remember, we are all sinners. Concentrate in becoming godly, including in your eating habits and taking care of your body, you will feel better physically. Do not be overwhelmed with doing everything at once, take one thing at a time to change, trust the Lord to do the work, He is able to give you the strength & endurance to do it. Don't rely on yourself but in God, He never fails.

You were made in His image, think about that,He creared you for a reason, how awsome is that, He has the perfect man for you don't settle for anything less, pray for him and wait for His best, don't rush ahead, Sarah did and had Esmaelnot sure of spelling He did bless her with Issac, He has a plan for you to.
