My Marriage Restoration

Posted by an anonymous user on 5/16/2008 1:42:03 AM  - Print This  - Email This

Please pray for my husband and I. We have been seperated for several months and have just started to attend marriage counseling. He still is not ready to come home. Please pray that the Lord will guide him home soon. We have a baby due in June and I miss and love him so much. The counseling session went very well its just my husband is afraid to come back home. I believe he is worried about what others will think about him for leaving me while I was pregnant. I have told him several times I will welcome him back with open arms and we will work on those other "family" issues down the road. Pray that my husband will see our marriage and our new family is whats important right now and that he will come back home soon. Thank you for your prayers.

I will pray for you, your husband and baby to be a united and loving family. You seem to have a positive and strong outlook and demonstrate much love in forgivness, which must come from faith in God - who desires to be a Father to each member of your family. This issue is close to my heart and I will be faithful to remember your needs frequently.

Father,

We thank You that You ordained marriage. We thank You that it is Your will that this couple be reunited in covenant love. We ask that You send Your spirit upon this husband. We come against the spirit of pride in his life in the name of Jesus. We speak even now that You are moving in his heart and mind. We thank You that this marriage is restored. This husband will return to and remain loyal to the wife of his youth. Not by might nor by power, but by Your Spirit. All in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Sister,
I know its hard and through your words I can feel how much you love and need your husband. I understand. I am going to go into prayer in a few moments after I send this email to you. I am going to pray that the Lord "continue" to touch your husband heart and he returns home to you so you and your baby will have the family you need and deserve. We cannot allow the enemy to continue to ravage through our Godly marriages. You have the victory. Keep lifting up your husband and family and trust God to touch your husbands heart. It has been especially on my heart to pray for the men/women of God who's marriages are being attacked. When you have a chance please read proverbs 15 :1. You are a lovely wife and I can tell. Keep faith in Jesus.

Lord I pray that you please deliver her Husband from pride and fear and whatever else is holding him back from being the Husband You want him to be. Please guide him into all truth, and that he can make right decisions. Please bless him, his wife, and their new baby!
