Sorrow After The Death Of My Mother

Posted by an anonymous user on 5/10/2008 11:46:20 PM  - Print This  - Email This

My mother passed away last May and it has been a difficult year. My prayer is that God will restore my joy and peace. That I will speak of when He poured down his love /peace and wiped the tears off my face. I pray for complete healing of mind, spirit, and soul. Also, that the Holy Spirit fall fresh on me.
Thank you for your prayers and may you day be blessed. Nel

May God bless you and heal your heart.
(Healing may take time. One day at a time.)
It will come. The Lord is with you and will help you.

Hi Nel - I will remember to pray for you often. I recently lost a parent too and am amazed by the comfort I have received, even though it is still difficult. God promises to send the Comforter and He will restore your joy. I am also confident you will be reunited with your mother.

Dear saint in Christ,
I cannot imagine how difficult it is to lose a loved one and especially your precious mother. The bible said "blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted." The joy of the Lord is your strength! I will lift you up and pray that our father heal your hurting heart. There is a season for all things under the sun. I know in time your joy will return and it will be even more joy then before. Keep the faith in Christ. Much love.
