I ask for your fervent prayers for my family. My father, mother, brother and niece have all fallen away from the church. Even after many tries to get them back they are afraid.(They fell away due to cruelty from a church staff member) I have encouraged them not to fall away from God, even if that means changing churches or doing self-study at home. It is all to no avail and I now see the beginnings of self-worship and worship of money, goods, etc. in these former devout Christians. My mom did agree to go to bible study at my church(I am of different faith than them)- please pray that through this study she can come back to God, and as the heart of our family- bring back the others! I am having a hard time explaining their fervent dislike of church to my children, and now my 6 year old son is asking to stay home from church on Sundays"like his gramma and papa." Please bring these beautiful people back into the fold of your church, Lord!

Hello Mandi:
My family are not devout christians but they know that God exists and they get off on their own track about God but they usually leave me with my faith.
A few months back God made a major movement in my life and all of a sudden my family became as those possessed as anti-christ. It came to the point I didn't want to go visit at my mother's home anymore as I didn't like to be attacked on my beliefs and their flagrant disregard for God.
I was told that because God was getting ready to either bless me greatly or to use me in some big way for His glory, Satan would attack those I love to stumble/block my progress.
It is important to explain this to your children so they don't fall by the wayside. My children are clinging to my faith at the moment and so long as they stay in there, I am thankful.
I have prayed to have the warrior angels to protect my family from the evil attacks and for God to bind them to His bosom and never let them go.
My sons have also been under attack but so long as God is with us, we cannot lose so long as we keep the faith.
I pray that God be with you in your walk and that you 'Hold On', your storm will come to an end. Tell your storm how big your God is.
Praise and prayer are awesome in overcoming evil.
When my cousin who was new in walking with God was accosted by evil she was so afraid she couldn't think of how/what to pray so she kept repeating: "under the blood of Jesus". The evil slowly backed away from her and she took off in her vehicle.
