Patience

Hello Evereyone!!!, This is Terry T, and I just wanted to say Hello and share some of this weeks experiences. I am trying to stay strong throughout this whole ordeal and last night while I was dreaming, I had these feelings of just how badly I have failed. all the time I ask Him for stregnth, and to help me to sleep peacefully. I really hate it when these thought break my sleep. Lord I just ask for peace. This week has been kind of trying , patience-wise . I am registered in a state run employment program and have come to a dead end and Monday I became so frustated I wanted to cry. I now have these credit issues now due to my situation with the forclosure and that may hinder my progress for getting employment. The issue with the state program is that they can only do so much probably due to funding. I can only do so much with them. I made more phone calls and found another agency and hope that thet can help me. Worry began to set in but I prayed and God has been good to me , I received a discount on the rate for the place that I am staying in until Thursday morning. That was such a blessing. Now I ask that if you all could please pray for me to be able to make the monthly rate, until I can get back on my feet and get our own place again. Another request is for my unemployment case to be approved soon, for I am running out of money. It is by His Grace that I have made it so far and I thank him so much, I am really greatfful for all for your prayers and words of encouragement. When I spoke with my brother about the lousy week that I have been having, he reminded me that so many people are praying for us, and just being reminded of that fact really brings an overwhelming sense of peace, hope and encouragement. One thing I do know and keep in mind always is that things could be alot worse and that others are suffering more than we are, so not only do I pray for others, just that thought keeps me in check. I must go now to continue my job search and do my homework. May God be with you all, and many blessings. Thank you so much for your prayers- Terry T.

God is good. God is good. God IS Good! We praise You God because we know You are good. We thank You that as Your children we are entitled to certain things. We know that You delight in taking care of us. We have only to come to You and ask. You give freely. We ask first for forgiveness. Forgive us for worrying when Your word states we are not to worry. Forgive our disobedience. We thank You for forgiving us. We thank You that ALL our needs are met on every occasion. Lord, You are our shepherd and we will not be in want. We praise You that You are our provider in every situation. Lord, meet Terry's need in accordance with Your word, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Dear Mrs. Piggy, Michray, Anonymous, and Every wonderful person who has kept me in their prayers, I thank you and yes, God is always so great!!! He is always there when you need him and I ask Him to please bless you all in whatever your needs or aspirations may be. I will have to contact my son, I have not heard from him since 04/09/2008 ( he is in prison ) he may have sent me a letter that could be late due to the forwarding of my mail. I will write him a letter to let him know that I am well and not to worry. I cannot tell him quite yet about what happened, he will worry and get stressed, he has some anxiety issues and I have to be careful about how and when I tell him about certain things. I did speak to the person who runs the unit that he is in to let him know to try to call me on my cell phone. trying to call from prison to a cell phone is iffy- not all call carriers handle collect calls for that type of line. Yesterday I had such a trying but blessed day.First , I had to go to the unemployment office to handle a situation with my case in person ( nowadays they have an automated system) because the person that I spoke with over the phone said that I may not be able to collect my back unemployment pay. Now you know that was the last thing that I needed to here. When I went to locate our local office I recieved some weird directions and was lost and drove around for about an hour and a half. then I got lost and just broke down and cried, I was in no man's land and it had began to rain. I pulled over and tried to collect my self and began to pray, asking God for safety and guidance. Once I got myself back together, I was able to get back to the main road- and a man gave me directions to get back to the city that I was supposed to go to. When I arrived near the city I stopped at a tailoring shop and 2 nice ladies instructed me to the next road to take. Another woman ( I got turned around again) pointed out that I was not that far and showed me where this office was. I felt so blessed and relieved God showed me the way and sent his Angels to guide- 4 angels to be exact, another man helped me also. When I got to the office I found that all that I had to do was file for a redetermination to get paid for those back weeks of pay. The clerk was very polite and explained everthing to me. She also checked the computer and saw that I was aleady paid out a check ( for the first 2 weeks of my job loss) It was In the mail!! and I won my case!!! the company that I worked for was trying to stop me fron getting my payments. I have enough money to pay for another week at the extendad stay, Praise the Lord!! When I left I was on my way to the post office to get my check and ran out of gas(my gas gage is broken). Oh boy, that had never happened to me but God Guided me to the nearest driveway of a business, there was just enough fumes in the tank to putter to safety. A gas station was nearby. I called my bank to see if I had any money left to buy a gas can and a gallon of gas, and I had enough to buy not only that but additional gas to get to the post office and get home.I feel so blessed and protected, he made a way out of no way!! Thank You Jesus!!! Thank you Jesus!!! Angels all the way!! I must go now but again- thank you so much for your prayers, and you will hear from me again soon. God Bless you all. Terry T.

Terry,
What a testamony of God's goodness!
Praise the Lord! God is Faithful!
He is our Hope and our Help!
"I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth."
Psalm 121:1-2

Thank you Ignited Faith for your praise and encouragement. Yes, He is faithful and just awesome. I am going to use psalm121:1-2 as a mission statement for our road back to recovering our lives, and being raised from the wrath of hell that we have been through. The next time some ones tell me that I will not be able to get a job or some where to live ("well you know the economy is bad, their are no jobs In Michigan and no one will rent to you because of your forclosure" blah blah blah, and any other statement of negitivity)my response will be psalm 121 with an affirmative and faithful thank you to God to sum it all up.May God be with you and your loved ones always.
