Prayer For My Marriage

Posted by rock67 on 4/19/2008 6:22:45 PM  - Print This  - Email This

I am a spouse standing for the restoration of my marriage. My wife has been separated from me since about February of last year and she filed for divorce in October. We are nearing the end of the road and have a date of May 14th as a probable divorce date. Please pray that my wife relents and comes back. I am praying that her heart changes and finds the love that she once had for me. Please pray that she does not commit adultery or defile the vows we had in any way. Please pray that God restores the marriage and that He gives me the courage to see this through. My name is Rocco and she is Teri...

Father God,

Lend Your ear to the cries of Your children. Hear us O Lord. We cry out for restoration of this marriage. Your Word says You hate divorce. We hate divorce too. You have the power to turn her heart and we ask You to do so. Turn Teri's heart back to You and her husband. Lord, You ordained marriage. We thank You Lord that You uphold Your decrees with Your right hand. We thank You for new mercies every morning. Lord, we also ask that You keep the marriage bed undefiled. Hold Teri's treasure for her husband, Rocco. Keep her pure in body and spirit. Send people into her life who will speak Your truth to her concerning her vows. She needs to be reminded that she not only made the vows to Rocco, but to You. You call marriage honorable. So it is established. Heal her heart and open her spiritual eyes so that she may see her way back to her husband. All in the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.
