Emailing Members

Posted by arsindelve, Executive Director, Delve Christian Ministries on 06/24

One of the first features we put in place (but never finished) was the ability for members to email one another from the website. One of our new members, Weedy, asked me about this last week, which reminded me, "hey we never finished that feature!" So, we've gone ahead and completed it, and it is now active. Thanks, Weedy!

We think this is an excellent way to increase the sense of community and fellowship which is such an integral part of being a member of Delve Into Jesus.

Here's how it works: If you click on any member's user name, you will see their profile and from there, you will see a tab called, "Send a message". Here, you can type the message and it will be sent to them by email.

To protect everyone's privacy, you will never see the recipient's email address, and the email will show as originating from Delve Into Jesus so that your email address will never be appear to them. The staff at Delve Christian Ministries will monitor all correspondence to make sure there is no abuse or harassment.

If you prefer that other members not have the ability to email you, you can turn this feature off in your own profile.

Congratulations to IgnitedFaith who was the first to find this new feature, and who sent the first email yesterday.

I actually stumbled across it!
What a surprise to see that we can send a Personal E-mail!
Thank you for this feature! (Thank you Weedy for suggesting it!)
