Questions About Donations

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Not at this time. We are a non-profit organization, but not yet a registered charity. We are currently in the process of registering with the Canadian Revenue Agency to become a recognized charity, at which time we will be able to provide tax receipts for Canadian citizens.

How will you spend the money?

Most of the money is used to cover the day-to-day expenses associated with operating our ministries such as Delve Into Jesus. A small portion of donations will be used to fund future projects deemed to be vital to our mission field. We gladly invite you to learn more about out activities by reading our Mission Statement.

How can I be sure that you're spending the money appropriately?

As a non-profit ministry in the Province of Ontario, we are responsible to operate according to the constitution, by-laws and mission statement we've submitted to the province. You can review these documents here. If we are found to be operating in a way which violates our charter, we can be investigated and held liable by the province. More importantly, we submit to God as our supreme authority, whose standards for integrity and good stewardship we wholeheartedly strive to uphold.

What percentage of my donation will be used directly by Delve Christian Ministries?

If you contribute by check or money order, one hundred percent of your donation will be used directly in the work we do. If you give by credit card, a small percent (about two percent) is taken by PayPal to cover their operating costs.
