I love my husband a lot. I have been married for 9 months now. I am really hurt by his past. He had 5 girlfriends and 3 other girls that he was involved with...nothing sexual...but some improper touching. IT drives me crazy when I think about it. He's always been faithful to me but I am still hurt when I think about the fact he had so many girls in his life. Our marriage is great...but I am so down when I think about his past. IT affects our intimate relationship as well because sometimes I think about his ex-girl friends...I wonder sometimes if I forgave him...I think I did but I am so hurt and when I am that way I feel like I do not want to talk to him...

Aprilvio, I would venture to say that you haven't forgiven him from your heart. Take it to God in prayer. Tell Father that you want to forgive your husband from your heart and ask Him to help you do so. You have to do like Paul in Phillipians 3:13: "Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead." When God forgives, He forgets. Ask Him to give this gift to you so that you may forgive your husband and yourself and forget the matter. I have found that as I forgive and let God take over, even if I remember later, it doesn't hurt anymore. Please do this now, because left unchecked, the enemy gets a foothold and brings strife into your home. Stop satan now. May God add many blessings to you, your husband and your marriage.

Aprilvio, (I know it's hard... It can be done with God's help!) You said: "I love my husband a lot." Love is a verb. It is an action! Love covers a multitude of sins. "Love...it keeps no record of wrongs." 1 Corinthians 13:5b "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
