FRUSTRATED WITH DECISIONS

I just received a job offering Friday and was suppose to start work today. However, I spent the whole weekend at the hospital with my daughter and I was very very exhausted. I called and s/w the office manager and explained I would like to start tomorrow and the reason why. She asked questions about my daughter and when we discussed the grandchildren she asked how many children did she have and I stated "5". Her reply was FIVE, which I felt offened. Yes my daughter became a mother very young. I feel that I would be under pressure or may be judgement at this job. She seemed really funny about the whole situation. Now I don't want to go to work, but I am getting myself very frustrated and confused about what to do. I am on disability and still have a few months that I can still collect and I am thinking maybe I should just wait and job search later on for a different job. I have been under a lot of stress and while I have been job hunting I have been doing it out of fear that no one will hire me because I am a little older. I feel like my whole life is being under attack............. I feel like I should just focus on God over these next few weeks while I am off work and trust him with the outcome of a new job offer.....Any suggestions out there. libby

Libby,

You have work to do before you take a job. First you must rebuke these spirits that are attacking you. God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. We can cast out ANY spirit that is not of God, by telling it to go in the name of Jesus. Jesus has said over and over, Do not fear, just believe. So, cast them out and reclaim your peace in the name of Jesus. With a peaceful mind, approach the Father in prayer concerning this job. Ask God if this is the job HE wants you on. He will answer, yes or no. Do not let your emotions guide you. Be led by the Holy Spirit. Have faith that it will all work to your good. Your work is to believe Jesus. God might want you on this job to lead this woman to Him. Or, He may have a better job in store for you. Children of God don't always experience a warm reception in the work force. So, if God says yes, take the job with faith that God is with you. May you continue to walk with God all the days of your life.
