Got The Revelation

In Romans 8:37, Paul writes we are "more than conquerors through Him who loved us." I wondered how can you be more than a conqueror. I knew that through Christ we get the victory. Then today, I understood how we could be more than conquerors. The one who wins the battle is the conqueror. And since we don't fight the battle (Christ fights), we are more than conquerors because we win without fighting!

Please share any revelation that you have discovered.

Thank you Arsin and IgnitedFaith. Because of your Inspiration Lyrics "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

I believe the yoke of Jesus is to tell/show of the power, goodness and love of God. That is what Jesus did, right?

And the burden is to"just believe". Based on Mark 5:36 and Luke 8:50. I was thinking that a burden was something hard to do. Since we don't do the work, as it is God who does it, it's not a burden. But then I realized yes, believing is a burden. After all, satan comes against us. The burden is to keep the faith. The enemy comes to steal (our faith), kill (our joy) and destroy (our hope). It is easy to believe when things are going well, but we are commissioned to believe in times of tribulation. Keep the faith. Do not fear at any time. We are to learn of Jesus and imitate Him. He never stressed out. We are not suppose to stress out either. So, we are to be not just hearers of the Word, but put the Word in action.

Talk to me people of God. Am I finally on the right track? My desire is that of Jesus, to do the will of the Father. I have to renew my mind and it is done with the help of all of you.

MrsPiggy,
A great big AMEN!
Your are on the right track!
We, like Paul, no matter the situation we find ourself in,
can be Content, in Christ!
Oh MrsPiggy, how true your words are...
Jesus never was stressed out! If we trust and lean on Him,
if we hear and obey God's Word, we will have peace!
Praise the Lord! His Word is True!
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Romans 12:2

Thank you. This helps me to understand: Come unto me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." I got it!! We can rest in Jesus (and not be dead) And He will do the work. We just believe.

I'm excited about this because as a child, there was a statue in the local cemetary of Jesus with outstretched arms and carved on the podium "Come unto me." All my life I put that scripture with death. But now I understand it's about life. He IS the life!! Excuse me while I jump up and down and shout a minute.

Ok, minute up. As you may know, my purpose is to sow seed. The seed is the Word of God.

I have another scripture: Mark 4:26-27.
'He also said,"This is what the kingdom is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how.'

This is so rich. Pray the Word of God. Believe it. See it come to pass. It's all so simple. It's all in the believing!!!

Elsewhere on this sight, there is a discussion about God making us simple. Now, that my eyes are opened more, I can see that He made everything simple. But man (as usual) complicated it. The more time I spend in the Word, the more I see how simple life is. My husband told me that years ago, but he didn't elaborate. We will be discussing it over supper tonight for sure.

MrsPiggy,
Yes. We need to believe God's Word, and stand on His Word!
I believe that Trust and Rest go together like a hand and a glove!
And may God bless you as you faithfully spread His Word!

Do you mind if I share a recent event of standing on the promise of
Romans 8:28
The other day my Husband was acting much out of character. I asked him what was bothering him? He was very stressed over not getting an order that he worked so hard on. Another Company got the job.
He became very negative...
So I said, "Well, maybe the other Company needed the order more than we did..." He seemed mad, and said something like; "Oh you don't understand..."
I asked him if he remembered the verse that is hung up by the kitchen window? He said he couldn't remember the verse. I said it is Romans 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."And it is true! (He was still angry...)
I told him to remember what God has brought us through in the past, He is faithful. Then I went upstairs to read my Bible. Suddenly my heart began to stir. Soon I found such excitement in my heart, I could not read anymore! I began to pray! I began to praise the Lord! My heart felt like it would explode! I ran back downstairs to ask my Husband if he would pray with me about our Business.
He said he was to busy and and too upset, and didn't want to pray right now. I said; "It will only take about 30 seconds of your time. Please hold my hands and pray with me!" So he did, but I could tell he could not wait to throw off my hands as soon as we were done. I said something like;
"O Lord, we know that Your Word says that all things work together for good to them that love You and are the called according to Your purpose.
And Lord, we know that (Husband) worked hard to get this order, and yet another company got the order. Our hope and our trust is in You Lord.
And Lord we know that You have enough business out there for both of us! Thank You Lord! And now we pray for our all of our Customers, and the one that got the order..."
Then sure enough, he threw my hands off, and said he had to get back to work. I ran back upstairs, and began to read my Bible again... And the excitement in my heart grew and grew... Then I heard the Fax Machine ring... And I waited with excitement... Then my Husband walked into my room and said, "You aren't going to believe this! The Company that we just got done praying for, they just sent us a Fax with a 2 Page order that is HUGE!!!!!!! We weren't even done praying for 90 seconds, and here is a Fantastic order! THANK GOD!" Then he said something like; "Boy, I really need to get into God more, and learn how to pray more!"
(PRAISE THE LORD!)

Praise God!!! The cattle on a thousand hills belong to Him. There is more than enough for all. Your husband was blessed because of your faith. He found a good thing AND receive the favor of the Lord!! Your testimony underscored many scriptures (promises of God). I'm sure in your husband's mind (not heart) this company was his enemy. But, you prayed for them. God (by faith) turned it around. This is the way we are suppose to live. By faith. My spirit rejoices with you and your husband!! Keep doing what you're doing, it will only get better. Each victory increases our faith. Build on it.
