I don't really know how to ask what I'm about to ask- so if it doesn't make any sense, let me know.
If God knows everything (what we'll do before we do it, etc.) And if He knows our destinies, then why do our choices really matter if it's all decided in the end anyway?

Good question. The scripture that comes to mind is I Corinthians 2:9.
" However, as it is written: No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"
God Knows everything, but we don't. Our choices matter to US. Those He chose and called still have the choice of yea or nay. That's where our free will comes in. And we know our destination based on our decision.
"Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts." Heb. 3:15
We have free will to chose our destiny. Life and blessings or death and curses. Choose life.
We press on to see what the end will be. God already knows.
I hope this makes sense to you.

Correction.
We know our final destination based on our choice. But, the journey is based on choices we have to make everyday. Who and what we meet along the way is what God knows and we are yet to see. We each have a part to play and I find it interesting that had Michael Lane not submitted to the call, we may not have been having this discussion at this time.
Aside:
"We have a destiny, I know we shall fulfill. We have a destiny, we're that city on a hill. We have a destiny, it's not an empty wish. For I know we were born for such a time as this."
This is the confession the entire congregation makes every Sunday at church. There is music to it, so we sing these words.

Who is Michael Lane?
That's me. Mrs Piggy is acknowledging our ministry (of which I am the founder) and our web site. Thanks, Mrs, for the undeserved but greatly appreciated mention. It's been humbling and gratifying to watch this web site grow from the seed of an idea nearly two years ago. I say humbled, because I never cease to be amazed at how God pours out cool, clean water from a cracked and dirty vessel.

Arsin, I was just telling the truth.
JesusRocks, Are you going to create a new discussion concerning America and Christians or keep it here? I'm headed out to churh for prayer, I'll check to see where the discussion is when I get back.
