i am posting this discussion because i am really in need of clarity and discernment... 6yrs ago i had been asking for God to give me favor on a matter... after months of prayer and believing that God would answer me, God made a promise to me concerning this issue... (i am sorry, i can't really go into depth about the matter, so please excuse my vagueness) when God revealed to me that He had heard my prayer and the answer was yes, He also told me that i was to read Proverbs daily and stay within His will... the problem is that i have not been consistent in my walk with God... with that said, i find myself questioning if God's promise to me still remains since i failed to hold up my end of the deal... i find myself trying to look for scriptures to answer this for me, but i have had no luck...
please help me, i would love to hear from you all

The promises of God are sure. He is faithful even when we're not. Repent, and start reading Proverbs as He told you. I will post the scripture for you shortly.

I Corinthians 1:9
I Corinthians 10:13
Hebrews 3:6

And you might consider David, even after having Uriah killed, God kept His promise to David. (2 Kings 11-12) God is faithful.

I will pray for you. And you can pray for me. This will keep the walls back. It's amazing how that works. Whenever things get tough for me, I find someone to pray for. I spend a lot of time in the prayer requests section gathering other folk's pain and taking them all to God in prayer. I know that God hears our prayers and He answers them. I'm still learning patience with joy. I know that He's going to give us double for the trouble. And it WILL all work together for your good. He never forgets a promise. Please pray for my finances and health. Please forgive the person who hurt you. That's my prayer for you. That you forgive, so that you may again pick up your joy.
