Do You Have A Praise Report You'd Like To Share?

I have something I'd like to share!
I have been praying concerning the t.v. viewing practices of my Husband... He came up to me today and asked if I had noticed that he had not watched t.v. for the past two weeks?
I said; "Yes, I noticed. Why did you stop?"
His answer was; "Because I wanted to stop filling my mind with garbage, and I want to use my time wisely and be a good influence to our family."
Praise the Lord!!! I am so happy!!!

(Please share what God is doing in your life!)

IgnitedFaith,

You know I love you and I am so happy that you have shared this praise report. It is so encouraging to me. There are things that I have been praying about concerning my husband and your post has caused my heart to rejoice! God has so much more in store for you and your husband.

I'd like to share that you corrected something I posted elsewhere with such love and kindness that it caused the Holy Spirit to rise up in me. Last night, while working, I mentioned it to my client, a minister, and he confirmed your words (not that they needed to be) but it lined up with God's word of two or three witnesses.

There is something else that you have been praying for concerning your husband. Real soon.

Thank you MrsPiggy!
With God all things are possible!!!
Mind if I share something I have also learned?
I used to get so upset with some of the shows that were watched in my home, I would verbally say things, and it only made my Husband angry with me. Then one day, I decided to pray instead. In a matter of minutes, the t.v. was turned off! So more and more I would keep my mouth shut, and just turn it over to the Lord in prayer! I was happier, so was my Husband, because I wasn't judging him, and making him feel like he was some horrible person. In time, it was the Lord who changed my Husband's heart, and his desires! One day I saw a banner over our home, (In my minds eye!) the banner read:
"Thy Will be done."
God is doing great things! MrsPiggy, God bless all He is doing in your family and home! (Praise the Lord!)

IgnitedFaith,

This is amazing!! I was watching Joyce Meyer's show this morning after reading your praise report and it was about showing honor to your husband. The lady whose testimony was being showcasted did the same thing. She said everytime she got ready to argue with her husband God told her to be quiet and she did. She stayed in prayer and God turned the marriage around. Her husband stopped playing golf on Sundays and started going to church with her. I'm encouraged.

Another thing:
Do you happen to know what your giftings are? There is a discussion topic on this site (GiftsPurpose) and I have listed the spiritual gifts with definitions, have you seen it? Everytime, I interact with you, I get a feeling about you and I want to know if I'm correct in my discernment. Be blessed.

Hi MrsPiggy,
It is great to hear testimonies of how God is changing people's lives!
Sometimes we get a clear message from God, yet we won't humble ourselves and simply obey. From now on I want to listen the First time! God is the greatest isn't He?!!!
I found the discussion topic that you mentioned:
"GiftsPurpose." I will check it out!
Mega Blessings to you!

I wanted to buy a new book by John Eldredge entitled: Walking with God. I only had twenty dollars, I prayed and went to the Family Christian Bookstore. The book was on sale and I got it for 19.68. I love God's favor!! I will give a book report soon.

(Nothing is too big or too small for God!)
