As I woke up this morning, a strange thought entered my mind as I was talking to the Lord in prayer. It was: "... that I should read the Dictionary..." (To me that was a crazy thought. I have no desire what so ever to read the Dictionary.) Yet, as the day went on I found myself missing my friend who had recently died...
I thought about how I did not posess anything that she had written. (Don't ask me why!) Then suddenly, I remembered she had given me a Book once. (Yet, I wasn't even sure what Book it was.) I walked over to the Bookshelf, and right before my eyes this Book seemed to draw my attention! I pulled it off the shelf, opened the first page, and actually, in my own handwriting I saw that I had written that my friend (who I missed so much) had given me the Book! The title of the book is:
"PICTORIAL BIBLE DICTIONARY"
Well, I sat down and I began to read it, (like a book)
and I am truly enjoying what I am reading and learning!
As I write this now, another thought I am reminded of.
I recently had prayed that God would help to expand my vocabulary and wisdom. Now all of this is making me smile!
So I am wondering, what are you reading?

I try never to read more than one book at a time, but somehow I ended up starting a few before I was finished the others.

1) Walking With God - John Eldredge (I love this book!)
2) The Way of the Heart - Henry Nouwen
3) Re-reading The Shack

Also...

4) Re-reading through 1 & 2 Samuel and 1 & 2 Kings

Unlike Arsin, I tend to read more than one book at a time. I generally go for a fiction and a nonficton. But, right now I'm on two nonfictions.

1. The Laws of Thinking by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan
2. Discover the Keys to Staying Full of God by Andrew Womack

I actually just finished reading a short book (true story) about a girl who was bitten and physically injured in other ways by two demons that she could see. A man by the name of Dr. Lester Sumerall wrote it... my mom got a whole bunch of his short books recently. I'm gonna read his three part series on Humans next:
1: the human body
2: the human soul
3: the human spirit

I'm really looking forward to it. =)
