We cannot change ourselves, but as we "seek first, the things of His Kingdom, all the rest will be added" (Matthew 6:33) Let God's word make the changes in you, by the power of His Holy Spirit.
I've been a Christian for many years, and I'm not much like others either ... polite people call me "unique" .. others just call me strange. That bothers me sometimes, but I've come to see that I don't have to be like anyone but Jesus ... we are being conformed to His likeness. That is a process .. sometimes it's slow .. sometimes we grow amazingly fast .. but we all grow and change in different ways and at different rates ... "according to His power that is at work within us" (Ephes. 3:20)
Some people will tell you to be patient with yourself ... I think we need to be patient with God, as He works out His perfect plan in our lives.
Do all you can to learn about Jesus .. who He is, what His life on earth was like, how He loved people, how He loved His (our) Father in heaven .. as you follow His example you will find your life changing without you striving to do it on your own.
May God bless you and fill you daily with the Holy Spirit and the peace of Christ Jesus.

The best advice I can give you is to read your Bible
a little each day.

"So then faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the word of God."
Romans 10:17

The Word of God is not like any other book.
It is God breathed! It is alive and active!
Like a new born baby craves milk,
New Born Christians should crave God's Word!

Jesus said;
"It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
Matthew 4:4

"How can a young person keep his life pure?
By living in keeping with your word.
I trust in you with all my heart.
Don't let me wander away from your commands.
I have hidden your word in my heart
so that I won't sin against you"
Psalm 119:9-11

Ephesians 2
From Death to Life
"In the past you were dead because you sinned and fought against God. You followed the ways of this world and obeyed the devil. He rules the world, and his spirit has power over everyone who doesn't obey God. Once we were also ruled by the selfish desires of our bodies and minds. We had made God angry, and we were going to be punished like everyone else.
But God was merciful! We were dead because of our sins, but God loved us so much that he made us alive with Christ, and God's wonderful kindness is what saves you. God raised us from death to life with Christ Jesus, and he has given us a place beside Christ in heaven.
God did this so that in the future world he could show how truly good and kind he is to us because of what Christ Jesus has done. You were saved by faith in God, who treats us much better than we deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own. It isn't something you have earned, so there is nothing you can brag about. God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. That's why he sent Christ to make us what we are."
Ephesians 2:1-10

Colossians 3
Living as Those Made Alive in Christ
"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."
Colossians 3:1-17

Put God first in your life.
Love God ABOVE everyone in your life.

Join a good Bible study.
Learn about Jesus, and you will learn the
truth about yourself.
Jesus holds Everything together!
He died a painful death on the cross
for the sins of the whole world!
(That's how much sin matters to God!)
3 days later, He rose from the dead!!!
One day we (believers) will rise again to eternal life
with Him in Heaven!
Jesus died for us because He loves us!
Talk to God in Prayer...
then shhhh listen for God to speak
to your heart.
You are never alone.
God is always right with you!

"Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path."
Psalm 119:105

Follow Jesus every day, all day!
