Our Life On Earth

I am wondering as a newly converted Christian, what does our life mean to God or anyone for that matter? We are born, we grow in knowledge, have experiences, love our wives and family and friends and then we join God if we have accepted Jesus as our saviour. It seems that all we have done and experienced must mean something--shouldnt just go away. Is there a benefit in heaven from it all?
Responses
I suggest reading Romans 8.
As believers in Christ, we are being
conformed to the image of Christ.
That is the key! As this happens,
our life is no longer self-centered,
but God and others centered!
God IS Love. We are here on earth
to fulfill His Purposes, and to be
Christ's Witnesses to a lost and dying World.
(Stay in the Word of God/ the Bible.)
"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path."
Psalm 119:105
