Baptism is an outward expression of one's faith. It is not a requirement to get into heaven. A Christian get's baptized after they've already been saved through their faith in Jesus. It's obviously important to do, but it is not a physical requirement for salvation. Now, as I write this, I haven't yet been baptized. I plan on doing so somewhere in the near future, but it I were to die tomorrow I'm fairly confident that I'd still end up in heaven regardless. It's the same as anything else Christians are called to do. Being baptized shows that we are living for Jesus, but it only occurs after we've already been saved. It's an outward marker of what has already occurred on the inside. It's important still, but it isn't a strict requirement for getting into heaven.
