Am I Found A Doer Of The Word Or A Hearer?

Jesus taught all people about love, on a few occasions, He was asked which is the most important commandment, and His response was, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." He gave some examples of what it means to love through His teachings. Through His compassion and healing of the sick, Jesus shows us to care for one another and take care of those who are in need. At the last supper when He washed the feet of His disciples, He taught us that we need to serve those we love.
One of Jesus' most famous and difficult teachings is to love not just our friends and family in God, but also our enemies! Jesus explained that there is nothing special or extraordinary in loving those who love us back, for even the wicked people do the same. He said, "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back." So don’t set yourself in the position of the Judge, lifestyles perceived as wicked are between the wicked and the Creator, condemnation if for those who openly condemn. The attacks upon American soil on September 11th 2001 were done by God-conscious individuals who thought they were doing God a favor, and yet people here in America picket with signs of hatred toward abortion, homosexuality and more thinking they to are doing God’s will. We are a simple creature that is aggressive in nature admonished to overcome our biological urges and desires cognitively, not give into them and rationalize our actions of aggression towards others. Got a problem with someone? Don’t go out of your way to pursue them with an impoverished ideology of suppression, wait for them to come to you and act defensively, not offensively. If you want to burn Bibles and flags, go ahead, but don’t do it in my front yard, because you might have some trouble on your hands. Do you suffer from the mass delusion that you and yours are going to save the world? Or do you go about your way, whenever possible, in a manner to keep peace on all sides? Is my maker going to condemn me for hating or loving? Lee
