I need prayer for me and my two children. As much as we can get. My husband left us three weeks ago for another woman. He has already filed divorce papers and claims to of found his "soul mate". This is the most wonderful man in the world, he came to us after our family had already been broken by their bilogilical father who left us for alcohol. My poor children have been through so much in their lifetimes. Enduring this is the worst pain I have ever felt. Never before have I had such unsettled thoughts about this. I feel like he wants to come back in some ways, but I have asked him and he is adamant that this is what he wants and cannot deny that she has come back in his life for a reason. When we married, he weighed 400lbs, I didnt care because I saw him from the inside. He has lost over 200lbs this year and now she wants him back. I just dont know why he cant see that. I pray that someone will open his eyes to this mistake he is making with our family, and that he will come back home to us before it is too late to mend what has been broken. But I cant find the peace that he his gone, nor can I find the peace that he will come back. Please help me Jesus loving arms to take away the pain he is causing me.

I am sorry for your pain......you need to be strong for your children as they are suffering aswell, let them see you are strong and will be there for them. Only God can change this for you so put your trust in Him not man He works all things together for good, keep praying he answers prayer.....trust Him He knows what's best for you all....May He bless you all,

Thank you for the response. I'm so hurt, just dont know what to do. I'm not myself, I cant grasp the reality of what is going on with him. I miss him so much, he is so wonderful and loving kind man, but he no longer is that person. I want his old self back to be with us.

Hello Daisymay,

I pray that you receive this post in the spirit it was sent. I pray that you will allow the Spirit of God to mend your heart. He cannot do so unless you are willing to give it over to Him. You may want his old self back, while God is wanting to do a new thing in both of you. Allow Him to do it. The new thing will be so much more than the old. I have found that when we give up our desires and allow Him to have His way in our life, it turns out so much better. His plans for us are way above the plans we hold for ourselves. May the LORD of all comfort wrap you in His love and mend you entirely.
