I found this short passage in 2 Timothy just now:

"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God" 2 Timothy 3:1-4

It seems to me that this can be directly applied to our current world at this point. I have a sneaking suspicion that it won't be too long until Jesus comes back again. If I had to guess, I'd say within 20-30 years max. But far be it from me to be accurate in such a guess! I've certainly been wrong before. What do you all think about this? How much longer do you think we'll be stuck here?

I agree that everything is pointing toward an eminent return of our Lord and Savior, yet I also remind myself of two things:

1. None shall know the day or time.
2. Other generations have thought the same thing.

Every day I watch our society degenerate and get more wicked, and my heart breaks for the atrocities we humans visit upon each others and upon our planet. I think to myself that it can't get much worse and then something new and more horrific happens. Throughout history people have said it can't get any worse and mankind continues to spiral downward in our behavior. Who is to say just how bad things will get before the Lord returns, but I will say this; I am ready for Him any time He chooses to return to claim His bride.

If I had to put a number on how much time we have remaining I could only say within this generation, but that is simply my humble opinion and is based solely on how sad I get when I view the state of our society. My heart and mind simply can't fathom conditions getting much worse.
