Who Find Who?

My topic for discussion:

Do we find GOD or does GOD find us?

This may be a simple answer for some, not me.

This is an interesting question that really tackles the question of free will vs predestination. The word says that He knew us and called us from the beginning, yet there is evidence also that it is up to us to respond to the call. To tackle your specific question: there is nowhere we can go that God does not know where we are, so we are never lost to Him. We may, however, be lost to ourselves. God knows who, what, where and why we are and there is no mystery to Him. Based on this I would say that we find God, and at the same time we find ourselves.

Blessings upon you!

I agree and disagree with that statement. Jesus is constantly knocking at our door, willing to come in. God does not need to find us. At the same time we are constantly looking for a personal relationship with God; we don't need to find Him. All we must do is open the door.
