I am going through my second work related back injury in 8 years. Because of the new injury I may not only have to have a third surgery, but I most likely will end up losing my job as well. My company is being very hostile towards me at this time. God has been leading me to start a new ministry at our church, which I have begun work on, and maybe this is His way of providing me the time I need to get it going. As a husband and a father of a toddler and a teenager, I worry about finances through this trial. God has always taken care of my family, but I still feel responsible. I just pray that His will be clear to my family and I, and that we will have the strength and faith to hold firm in adversity. Please join us in this prayer.

I don't believe it's His way but He will use it as His word says He works all things together for good, it's right for you to feel responsible for your familt but turn worry to faith, when He calls He provides and makes a way, trust Him and we as you are healrd hy His stripes and in His name, Lord let You plans be known to this family let there be no room for doubt, we pray He opens doors no man can shut and shuts doors no man can open, let Your will be done. The Lord uses many devices to get our attention. The longer we put Him off, the stronger His tactics will get. I don't believe He ever hurts us, but He does allow us to get hurt if it will help us to grow, mature, and move closer to Him. He allowed Job to be tested by Satan, He allowed Jesus to be tempted by Satan, and He told Paul "My grace is sufficient unto you". I am in good company. Praise Jesus for His grace and love!

Yes He does, and no He doesn't hurt us, yes you are in good company and in our prayers, It took cancer and 2 opperations in 2weeks at the start of this year to show me the difference between spending time with Him, and trying 2 get everything done so i could spend time with Him, i don't like the device but i'm so greatful that He used it the way He has. stay in prayer stand in faith and praise Him as you do...Proverbs3:5-6.

I just spent the last week with my wife's family. They are very supportive and offered kind words and heartfelt love to me as we enjoyed our annual reunion. One of the biggest blessings came from the encouragement I received from my wife to continue to teach a small group bible study, and to continue work on my new ministry. The support of friends and family is so uplifting. How is your recovery coming mammak? What prayers can I offer for you? 2 operations in 2 weeks is intense. I pray that they were effective. Thank you for your encouragement and advice.

Praise God for your wife and her family, the power of words is so strong, i pray you do listen and do the small group with that your ministry will grow, we have been Christians for 10years, my 22yo daughter is a youth pastor, my 20 yo son hasn't been going to church for the past 2years , i decided not to worry or nag but trust Him and pray he's very good at sport all sport that's what drew him away really playing footy sunday, he loves footy the most anyway a young man late 20's or so started a bible study at his place to encourage the young guys and my son is LOVING IT praise god, He works all things together and i love watching Him do it. You never really know who will be at the study i would love to tell you the story of Billy Graham but i've gone on lonf enough, the point you may have a future Billy in front of you . God bless you, god bless your wife and her family, and be healed by His stripes. PS as for me my prayer is that i be used at the hospital to bring him glory i will be there a lot according to the doctors, so i may aswell be used, i do a lot of praying for people while i'm there they don't know it , over time they may ask for it who knows it's His will and His plan.

You have an awesome outlook on the situation, and I have no doubt that God will use you mightily in people's lives around you. Jesus allows us to enter seasons for the purpose of serving someone He needs to reach. You are reaching people for Him, of this I am sure!
