we live in a ministry and i run a discipleship program.the problem is that my husband is not as involved as i am and it hurts my heart.he rarely even attends church with me, he says he believes in Jesus but i pray to see him as a "man of God". i have faith that the Lord will turn him around but sometimes i am so discouraged and it hinders my christian walk. what more can i do than to pray?

When you find out how to have God enter someone else's heart, I hope you share! I pray for very similar.... Does your husband try to limit you? Does he discourage you from your work? Or, are you just longing for him to be in step with you? If he discourages, then I see the bright opportunity that the communication is there to discuss together and the opening for you to challenge his beliefs. If he is not giving you the opening, maybe God's plan is for him to be near his salavation with you and enable his entrance through and with you when the time is right. I am learning that sometimes God brings us to our knees in defeat so the only thing to do is look up to find Him there as our loving Father. Keep faith, don't be distracted.

thank you for your encouraging words, my husband never holds me back from what God is calling on me to do. but during certain situations, things can look hypocritical. i will continue to pray for him. thank you so much.

You just keep doing what God has called you to do. Pray and believe for your husband's salvation. Then, just let him do his thing. It is the lovingkindness of God that causes us to repent. Show him the love of God and be the wife God has outlined in His word. I'll be praying fo you both.
