Birthday Or Life Anniversary

I was born January 13th. Many people call this my birthday. But it's really an anniversary of the day I was born. My born-again day is November 21st. (just to keep the conversation holy),
What say you?

Happy birthday....The birthday is the day He choose for you to be born, Born-again day is the day you choose to give your life back to Him, i think they are both special they both involve Him

Thank you. But every year can't be my birthday. It has to be the anniversary of my birth, right? I got married on September 1st, so when September 1st comes each year it's my anniversary not my wedding day. So, yesterday was my "Life anniversary". I don't understand why it's called birthday after a year goes by.
