good morning as you all know i'm married with children (you know the other side of al bundy) lol, but there was once this issue of not understanding the part in the bible where it says wives submitt to your husbands,and us the same.i've come to understand that submitt is submission 'under" meaning the mission that god has for the man the wife is to support that fully and vice versa,it's not a slave act at all but more less to obide by the word and have your relationship right with the lord so that you would have the blessings that god has planned for you and your spouse.AND husbands are held accountable for their family and there outcome.it's not all bout the bread winner not even close.We as husbands have to make sure that our relationship with god is in tact before we worry about what our relationship is with our wife.we are to love our wife as christ loved the church.EVERYTHING he did was for the church amen,SO starting with myself, think of a few things you could do to give your wife 'if married a break' because they where made for companionship,to add to the mission god has for us not to take orders,as an employee,but more like president and vice president,under god.I believe this is the key to a god favored relationship.SO before you take the name head of the house re'evaluate yourself carefully do you want a slave or a partner.GOD gave me a partner and together we will build from gods foundation

This is a wonderful message, and I think you've hit the nail on the head. The role of "head of the household" is a responsibility, not a privilege. It tells you what expected of you, not what you can get out of it. It described how a man is expected to serve, not to be served. Thanks for sharing this.
