There is power in the tongue. The bible says that EVERY word we speak we will be held accountable. I believe that alot of things that happen in our lives are happening because of the things we say. I remember as a child my granmother use to tell me "see no evil, hear no evil & speak no evil". Think about it...usually it is comforting words of another that takes us a long way. Just as there are harming words that can ruin our day. We should always be careful on choosing our words. If you constantly tell a child that they act like their father and all they hear is negative things about their father...that child will start to develope more and more characteristics of their father. All because of what you said and what they heard. I once had a friend that constantly joked about his life style and always made a statement that he wouldn't live to see his 30th birthday. Guess what guys...he was in a terrible accident a week b4 his 30th birthday. So my advice to us all is that if we want healing...speak of healing...if we want happiness...speak of happiness...it is all in the tongue. We all have problems in our life...that's life. It is not healthy to constantly complain and dwell on such things. Complain and we WILL remain...in that same pit. Praise and we WILL be raised out of that pit. So I believe that what we speak will come to pass. So let's be more careful on our choice of words. God Bless.
