Single Again After 31 Years

I lost my husband resently, before then we were separated for over 2 years. I stayed committed to my vows even thou we wasn't living together. we kept in close contact unto death. Death ended our vows that we made. Now, can I get some advice on where to begin? I am a woman of God I love God and believe in doing whats right. Godly advice is welcome.

Shelly, i'm sorry you lost your husband, i'm proud of you for staying faithful and happy that you had contact, begin to do what?
I'll say what i'm led to, I pray it's what you want to hear, Now that Part of your life has come to a close, just do what you have been doing = what ever needs to be done, shop, clean catch up with friends, you know life, but first seek His face, read His word, ,ask Him, "Lord what do You want me to do for You"?
ask the Holy Spirit to lead you, ask for wisdom, descernment, if there is to be someone else in your life, let it be His will and timing. He has a plan for you, psalm 46:10. God bless you in all you do. matthew6:33-34.

Hi Shelly,
Welcome!
I too am sorry to hear about the loss of your Husband.
You are blessed to have God in your life, and that you want
to obey His will. (Remember, you are His Wife!) You are the Bride
of Christ! You will never be alone. He will help you through all of the
days ahead. Mammak gave you some very good ideas! I know you will take them to heart! We are here very often, if you need prayer, or just want to chat! (Lean on the Lord, and we are here for you too!)
Our shoulders are wide, and our hearts are caring.
I had a friend who recently lost her Husband. She felt like you, and
she asked the Lord: (Something like this:) "Lord I don't know how to be a widow. What do I do?" She felt the Lord's answer was something like this: 'Look at her, and her. (Meaning other Widow's she knew.)
Do what they are doing.'
Suddenly she realized, she could do it too.
God bless you Shelly!
Psalm 23
(One I stand on daily!)
I will be praying for you.

He knows what we don't and He knows what you both don't are you willing to put in in His hands and wait or....may He bless what ever you decide and give you peace and strebgth for it... i wish we all had the right word at the right time. God bless.
