I am hoping someone can show me in the Bible where I can find some verses about judgement and punishment for such judgements. I also once had a prayer that I said a lot when I was a young adult - it had to do with relieving the burden of others and not adding to it. Any ideas?

Here are some verses about Judgement, concerning a born again believer in Christ.

(Jesus said;)

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me,
hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life."
John 5:24

"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
Romans 8:1

On the other hand, a person who rejects Christ, and dies in their sins, will be judged and punished.

"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day."
John 12:48

Thank you very much. This is exactly what I needed - to be reminder that He loves me and I can come into his light without fear of being judged for my past sins
