I am thankful for: 1). Jesus- Oh Lord, how i don't deserve you! 2). Forgiveness- the beauty of it, when we are truly able to forgive others, but also the forgiveness that we receive when we don't deserve it, but God offers it anyway. Oh how we serve an awesome God! 3). My family and friends- My wonderful little sister who just loves the Lord and it encourages me so much to watch her pray. I just see Jesus in her. 4). The stars- Just being able to lay down at night and look up at them all and know God's majesty and power. 5). Music- it brings me to my knees sometimes and to tears most of the time. It just connects me to God and i am so thankful for it! 6). The fact that God is never to busy for us 7). The fact that when we are weak, He is strong! I love that! 8). My church- I am really blessed by my church and my pastors 9). this website- I have been so encouraged and God has really used this website to do things in my life that i never thought were possible. I am thankful for our little Grandson! He has a toy that has the Alphabet out of wood which stands up. My Husband and I were having coffee, and we started with the Letter A, thought of many things were were thankful for! Soon we went through the whole alphabet! I am thankful for: A Almighty God, Air, Attitudes in my Husband which reflect Christ! B Beauty that God Created, being BornAgain, Babies, the Beach which reminds me of Psalm 139!.. C Christ my Lord, Children, Clouds, Comfort & Care God daily gives us!.. D Delve Into Jesus, Death so we can one day be with the Lord forever!.. E Everything, Eternity, Enemies I must pray for... I am thankful for: 1. My oldest Daughter (I see God is softening her heart. This is a really incredible thing!!!!!!) 2. I found a verse I had been searching for!!! 3. My Husband is my best friend. 4. My Husband makes me laugh. (A lot!!!) 5. All the People here on Delve into Jesus! 6. For all the things I have to do today that are NOT fun, but with the Lord, I can do them with Joy!!! (helping Husband with Taxes, help husband with orders, Laundry, Weeding, clean the Bathrooms, strip wallpaper in Laundry Room, etc.) Thank You Lord!!!

I am thankful for my Friend who just died the other day. I would like to dedicate this day of thanks in her memory. 1. She was in a lot of pain, yet always had a smile on her face. 2. She loved to read the Bible and Daily Devotions with me. 3. She was a a great listener. 4. She was honest. 5. She was faithful. 6. She wanted to share Christ with her Neighbors. 7. She had sweet prayers. 8. She was kind and gentle. 9. She looked forward to going home to be with the Lord. 10. She was like a Mother to me. 11. I miss her so much. 12. Arsindelve, Thank you! Her name was Lil. She was a Widow who never had Children of her own. When we met, we loved each other right away, and from the first day on we called each other Mother and Daughter! Not to long ago I was reading this in the Bible. I think it was one of the last things we talked about on the phone. "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." Thanking God today for: 1. Enthusiastic new members of this site; welcome Shaloma! I have a seven year-old daughter, and I appreciated what you said about discussing thankfulness with your son as a daily tradition. 2. The trials I passed through last year - some seem so related to the issues my daughter needs my help with this year. Thank you God, for keeping me at least one step ahead of my children! Thank you for teaching me how to comfort and lead them! 3. All of my papaya trees made it through two very cold nights which had killed many delicate plants. My pastor advised me to make something lasting to commemorate a significant event in my life, so I made a pathway dominated by hibiscus and oleander on one side and papaya trees on the other. After I finished, I realized I had made a foolish choice since papayas are not well suited for the local climate. Thank you God, for your mercy which covers my shortcomings! 4. For my wife's encouragement to resist my desire to spend the day repairing my gardens and instead, take the kids to some nature shows they wanted to see at the IMAX. I'm glad my children are enthralled by these types of films, even when the dialogue is above their understanding. Thank you God, for the wonders of your creation and for exciting my children with them today! 5. I'm thankful for being taught more about thankfulness! I'm glad verses like Colossians 2:6-7 and Philippians 4:6 carry a richer meaning to me today. Thank you God, for your Word which never fails to impart increasing wisdom and joy to those who seek you!

1. I'm thankful that Almighty God invites us to come to Him in prayer and yearns to share that bond with us. 2. I'm grateful God has given me a driving desire to connect with Him in prayer. 3. I'm thankful to be living in a country which is observing a National Day of Prayer today. 4. Although it seems our public agenda in the US is unequivocally running away from God, I'm thankful we continue to honor some traditions, like the National Day of Prayer, which recognize or dependence on God. 5. Even though, or maybe especially because it mocks our national folly, I'm thankful that US currency still sports the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST".
